Default Possible leech fix for aspenwood?

What would everyone think about making parties of 2. Like in AB how we have to make 3 teams of 4, in Aspenwood we could make 4 teams of 2.

The difference though is that once you go in it would be the same 8 man grouping. You would only group with another person in order to get in.

It could prevent those random botters from joining and leeching. Only having 2 people "pre-party" would keep it random, avoiding the build requirements/coordination of a full 8 man party that people come to aspenwood to avoid.

You could still end up with guildies/friends leeching together but it would at least cut down on those random people/botters that just continually press enter battle and do nothing else.

So you'd get leechers in groups of 2 instead of groups of 1. Partying for aspenwood and JQ would be a great addition (right now my friends and I sync-join and if we arent on the same team we abandon our team and try again) but would it solve the leeching problem? Nope...

LFG leech >_<

Hm... would be a choice...

If the other team is a leecher team, you leave, and the side with 4 or more leavers loses automatically, without getting faction.

That way you KILL leeching.

So series, just because you aren't on the same team, you would ruin the game for the others by leaving? Wow your one awesome person.

Over all i dont see the effectiveness of this suggestion. Whats to stop bots joining teams?

Overall i think Arena net has met their match with leeching since theirs no technique 100% effective for this. Like ive mentioned in other threads, we as a community have to start sending in reports. What arena net should do is making reporting much easier. Sure their will be more reports but it'll be much more easier on the community. As of now I do not report people because half the time the Ncsoft website fails to send the info causing me to redo the entire submission again which really turns me away from doing it.

When Anet makes it so I am able to join with friends, that wont be a problem. The thing is, some of us are kind of "social" and have more fun playing with friends then strangers. Hey, if the others are at such a disadvantage with a 7 man party, they can always leave as well

It wouldnt be any worse than the way it is now. If you see a leecher then dont party with them. It wouldnt completely solve leeching but it would possibly cut it down enough to make it more bearable. I doubt people will go around advertising themselves as leechers. How often does it happen in AB? Not much. There arent many leechers in AB like there was in the faction beta because of the grouping. If someone leeches they get kicked from the group.

Better solution, you can vote kick in the first 30 seconds, <sorry dial up, life sucks in the boonies, but you have pastoral skies> the leach gets kicked, and replaced by someone who is waiting in aspenwood lobby, you'd only get to replace max 3 people, but it would help, and you wouldn't get your same leach back, you'donly need 5 people to say the person needed to go, and, yes, it would be abused, but anything else would anyway, I haven't seen 5 kurzicks come over to sync join and sabotage <or 5 lux go over for that matter>

Why do people keep saying team leeching when its only 2 people? It would be ABSOLUTELY NO worse than it is NOW.

So let's screw up other teams, discourage people from playing and kill aspenwood all together? Sure that may seem like a very vague idea but you get the point. Your excuse is as moot as the gum on my shoe. If you wanted to be social, youd go to a real team place and not this. Of course you'll probably saluted for your actions So I wont even bother
